Data Protection and Privacy Policy

Any information submitted to The AICS Group website by individuals seeking to use our services will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The AICS Group takes your privacy very seriously and collects only essential personal data supplied by you so that we can assist you in the recruitment process or sourcing candidates for your client. The AICS Group does not sell, trade or rent your information to others.

We will not request information from you, which is excessive and will try, with your assistance, to keep the information we hold about you up to date and accurate.

The AICS Group goes to great lengths to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Only those employees involved in the recruitment process are provided with your personal information.

By registering your details with The AICS Group and by subsequent visits to update your personal information, you consent to the collection and use of this information by The AICS Group.

The information collected on you and further information collected from you in the future will be used to create a database. The database and the information it contains will be used by The AICS Group and their clients to assess your suitability, skills and qualifications not only for current vacancies, but also for future vacancies The AICS Group think may be of interest to you.

The AICS Group may also use your information to keep you informed by telephone, e-mail and/or mail of future vacancies which The AICS Group consider may be appropriate to you.

What we collect

  • Company name
  • Contact information including email address
  • Nature of your enquiry

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • To get a basis understanding of yours or your client requirement
  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

The AICS Group uses 'Cookies' on the website. Cookies are small pieces of information stored by us on your computer which enable us to identify your computer when you access our website. We will not disclose information obtained by the use of cookies to third parties.

From time to time The AICS Group may modify the policy. Should this be the case, all amendments will be posted on this page. However, should there be a fundamental or material change to the way The AICS Group collects or stores your personal data we will contact you by email and highlight the changes on the home page of the website.

Under the Employment Agencies Act, The AICS Group is obliged to hold your data for 12 months after it was last used. After 12 months of non-usage we will contact you and ask you if you want to keep your details on our database.

If you do not indicate by signing in to that you wish your details to be retained on our database, we will archive your account.
